Just did a new retouch on some of the frames from a shoot a few years ago with one of my favorite models to work with, Madelene De La Motte.

This shoot we did one and a half years ago when i still was studying photography. That was about at the same time when i got in contact with Toni Korpineva from Brand Model Management (You all know Kirsi Pyrhönen, yes,her agent). I showed him the pictures as an update, and he got very qurious who's the girl? And decided to meet Madelene right after in Stockholm. And now, a year after, she's walking for Calvin Klein on New York fashion week.

Can't wait to work with Madelene again! And i can promise you, that shoot you defenetly want to see!

I wish Madde all of luck in the future as well and hope she is enjoying every moment of what she is heading for!

Well as i said to you in the last post i made, that i would explain the whole story later. Well now is the time for that.

I had a shoot for BON Magazine in the beginning of the summer. They wanted me to shoot a suite from J.Lindeberg, a hat from Ann-Sofie Back and som earings and a bracelet from Dyrberg/Kern.

So i did, but i also did it with a model and like a still-life, so they had a option.

And yesterday i got my copy of the mag and this is how it came out in print. So have a look in the mag if you see it in town:)

(And yes they spelled my name wrong,suprise!)

Personally i think they would have chosen the one with the model for the J.Lindeberg picture.

Midsummer is over and i can sure tell you that it feels like we had a lot to drink. But it sure was a fantastic party once again at Risön.

Tomorrow i have a shoot in my own home town in Finland,karis! Looking forward to it because we are a great team on the set tomorrow.

Alright,sitting at home, in 1 hour the make up artist will arrive. An hour after that the stylist and modell will show up,then it's on.
I don't know if i have taken too much on me right now? Right now i'm trying to plan the next 24 hours in my head and eating at the same time, next time i will have time to eat will be in lke 12 hours.. This is what i have to to:

Today i will have a editorial shoot and will start shooting around 3 in the afternoon i hope. After that i will come home, pak my bag because i'm leaving for Finland tomorrow and will be back monday again. Then straight to the office and start retouching the look book shoot i had on saturday, they have to be done today because Maryam will have a exhibition on monday (and i'm leaving 8 in the morning tomorrow,remember). After i'm done with that i will start rating the images from todays editorial shoot and start retouching them and then send them to London.
So we are talking about retouching 15-20 images in abput 8-10 hours!! WTF!!

So what do you readers think about this? Will i make it or not? I have to work trough the whole night and then i'm heading straight to the ferry from the office sometime around 7 in the morning tomorrow. This is madness!!

Yeah i know, i'm a bad bad updater. But right now it's alot that needs to be done so i haven't had that much time for the blog. Sorry about that.

Everything is all good. Alot to do with the internship right now, shoots,retouching etc.. But that's not a bad thing at all! But in the coming weeks i will hopefully have a few shoots on my own, well at least one. And then i will shoot an editorial for a finnish magazine as well, looking forward to that one!
If everything goes well i will have a shoot on sunday. Will make a new post later this week and keep you updated on how it goes?

Until then i can tell you that i will be published in the next PRINT issue of Dujour Magazine. And on top of that they were looking for a few key contributor photographers for their upcoming issues. So let's hope that i am one of them now!

Have done my test week now with Jesper Brandt and he told me to come back on monday (tomorrow), so that means that i will do some of my internship there and that i'm very happy for!
So now i just hope that i can stay there as long as possible! I know i can learn alot from him and i really had a good time last week, so folks, keep your thumbs for me!

Hi folks, it's been a long time (again) i know! But the 5th of January i'm heading down to Gamleby to do the retuoch of the Helsinki shoots. Don't really have time to do any new shoots now, even though my trigger finger is itchy. Moved to Stockholm on monday so now im looking for an apartment to rent, seems to be fucking impossible in this city! And then i have to get a a place to do my internship on as well. So sadly i have to focus on those things right now. But as soon as those are sorted out i will start to plan the next shoot.

I tried out a fast retouch on the jpeg files just to get an idea on how to do with the RAW files when i get down to the village. Just a few curves on these two, nothing more.

So it will look a little something like this in the end?

Got back home from Helsinki yesterday. Having 3 shoots in 4 days can be exhausting and in this case it was! But i had a great time working togheter with Heidi, and here clothes are amazing!
So now it's time for me to take holidays and just chill with friends and family before i move to Stockholm the 27th.

I just did some test curves on the jpeg´s from the shoots. I start retouching the RAW files in January sometime when i have time for it.
But here are a some sneak peeks from the different shoots. But these are far from ready so please have understanding for that :)

I'm really sorry for the poor update on the blog. But not much has happend since my last shoot, just some meetings in Stockholm and som cancelled meetings. So not that hot topic to write about.
But this saturday and next monday and tuesday it will happen some things, all those days are booked for photoshoots in Helsinki.

Så var en ny plåtningen över. Blev en mera eller mindre "kill my darlings" plåtning, gick bara på känsla och använde endast en bygglampa som ljussättning,inga blixtar eller skärmar eller något
För övrigt var det en riktigt rolig plåtning! Nanna och Esther var sjukt roliga och duktiga! Och stor tack till joppe som gjorde smink och hår samt assade mej!

Slänger upp en i princip orörs bild, bara en liten kontrastkurva gjord. Ingen hudretusch eller dammplockning eller nåt.

Så var det en inställd plåtning igen. Den här gången messar modellen mej samma morgon och säger att hon inte kan pgs personliga skäl,surt!
Men har fixat en ny tills imorron så det är lungt. Och då ska jag verkligen kill my darlings, köra med ändast B-ljus (bygglampor), så får se hur det går? Spännande ska det bli iaf.
Kommer upp bild troligtvis imorron redan, en sneak peak.
Nu till clas ohlsson och inhandla nödvändiga grejer för plåtningen.

Ahh sen e det eventuellt planerat 1 eller 2 plåtningar till nästa vecka nere i byn också...

Imorron blir det plåtning och blir det inte imorron sp blir det på torsdag. Surt att stylisten inte kan på torsdag då när dom lovat fint väder.. Men men,vad kan man göra?
Så jag har tänkt fråga modellen om hon kan ställa upp båda dagarna?
Modellen ärdessutom finsk så det ska bli intressant! Sak försöka lägga upp en teaser bara ag har plåtat.

Sitter på rad 8 på Buss4You. Dagdrömmer om saker men längtar efter. Tittar ut genom fönstret, blå himmel,inte ett moln vad jag kan se, solen träffar min kind samtidigt som den är påväg ner bakom trädtopparna.
Just nu känns mitt liv perfekt här någonstans mellan Linköping och Stockholm, fast det egentligen är så långt ifrån perfekt man kan komma. Skyltar passerar förbi, den senaste "Stockholm 135km". Inte länge kvar tills man står där på centralen mitt i hetsen med alla sina väskor.

Tänker på alla vännerna där hemma hur dom har det? Är allt som förut? Har någon ändrat sej? Mår alla bra? Vad ska dom göra ikväll? Känns som om det är länge sen jag såg alla nu. Var hem senast för 1-2 månader sen, kommer ihåg att jag satt spänd och nervös på båten och tåget, satsade all min tid på en grej då. En grej som betydde allt för mej, han inte träffa någon annan då, kanske jag borde ha gjort det? Men nu vet jag iaf lite vem som egentligen bryr sej där hemma och vem som bara säger sånt. Ska bli kul att se er alla igen om en tid, ni vet vilka ni är.

Ikväll blir det fest i stockholm, verkligen fest med stort F! födelsedagsbarnen ska firas och så får jag träffa en vän som jag inte sett på länge, kärt återseende!

Fan vad fint vädret är nu! Hoppas det är såhär på torsdag, ska eventuellt plåta en finsk modell då som behöv lite nya bilder. Och jag vill plåta med naturljus, älskar naturljus!

Ny skylt "Lufttemperatur 8,9c" inte illa en novemberdag..

Blir ingen bild i detta inlägg, har inget nytt material på mej nu, så ni får nöja er med text. Men om 1 vecka igen borde jag ha lite nytt? Planerade lite på en eventuell plåtning idag också, så ska försöka styra upp modelelr till den nu då jag är i sthlm.

Nu har text markören blinkat för länge kommer inte på nåt mera..? Ahh förutom en ny skylt "Stockholm 98km" inte långt kvar nu....

Okej, då var det dags för att skaffa en blogg som jag kommer lägga upp största delen av min bilder på, samt planeringar och behind the scenes från plåtningar. Tror att folk uppskattar mera om jag bloggar om mina plåtningar än om jag bloggar om mitt liv.
